“Nerves spilled out like angel hair pasta.” Thanks, Jack Shepherd, for ensuring I’ll never be able to eat that again.
It’s really weird to see my list of “things to do before publishing” getting very small. The more of them I tick off the more nervous I get. Which I expected, but still. Nerves.
A couple more scenes to tweak – Rhys needs a little more page time, as do the contents of Kyra’s journal. Then I’ll do one more readthrough for continuity – making sure the condensed timeline is working, consistent weather, that kind of thing. Then it’ll be formatting time. Tedious, make-you-cross-eyed formatting. Hoo. Ray.
I don’t know how much I’ll be able to get done this weekend though…going to see Star Trek tonight, in Nashville most of tomorrow for a bridal shower, and visiting relatives on Sunday. Still, maybe I can fit some editing in there…I really want to be done with all this by the end of the month, which is fast approaching.
I’ll start posting preview chapters of THE THIEF in June!
