I woke up in a good mood this morning. That was weird.

I’m pretty sure it’s because of all the writing I did this weekend. Successfully cleared edits on chapters 1 and 2, which was admittedly a conservative goal. (I did more than that, alright?) This week’s goal is to do the same with 3 and 4 – more daunting. 4 is particularly problematic. It looks long right now, but a lot of it needs to be rewritten.

Toyed around with some ending stuff while I should have been sleeping last night. Trying to get a better handle on the “ninjas” and exactly what their purpose is, as well as what their limits are. Ditto for the Tower.

Back of the head is percolating plotlines for book 2. Can’t let Mac carry all the narrative weight – still firming up other narrators, but would like to bring in someone heretofore totally unknown. I’ve got an unusual idea in my head for how I want you to hear about what Rhys is up to in book 2…

Also have a couple ideas for short stories that could end up being awesome. My brain is full.
